The NCFFF Historian, Andy Woodall, has created a painting of the NCFFF Memorial that will be unveiled at the Family Dinner on May 4th at Raleigh Fire Station #1.  We have always wanted people to be able to take back home with them something they could reflect on their experience while at the Memorial site. There are 500 prints of this painting that will be signed and numbered. The prints are available for $100 unframed or $150 framed and ready to hang. If you would like a particular number between 11 and 500, let us know and we will check the availability. The proceeds will be split between the North Carolina Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the Fire Fighters Assisting Armed Forces Families (FFAAFF).  Thank you for your support.   These prints will also be available at the Memorial Dinner and the Seventh Annual North Carolina Fallen Firefighters Memorial on May 5, 2012.

After many have asked how they can become part of the NCFFF, we have developed a NCFFF Volunteer Logistical Support Team made up of volunteers across the state that will assist in many ways. Attached is the application and detail information about this team. If you have any questions, please contact a member of the Board of Directors or your Regional Director. Applications should be mailed to our office at 2501 Blue Ridge Rd., Suite 250, Raleigh, NC 27607.

The Seventh Annual Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2011, at 1:00 pm at historic Nash Square. The parade will begin at 10:00am.  Information for parade and honor guards are below. More information concerning hotel will be posted soon.

Firefighter Death. Chad Settlemyre, age 25, of the Sawmills Fire Rescue Department, Caldwell County Fire Station 40, died early Monday morning, February 27, 2012.

Memorial Service will be at Purnell Swett High School (11344 Deep Branch Rd, Pembroke NC 28372)
Friday January 13, 2012 at 3:00pm, any Departments/Honor Guards planning to bring fire apparatus and/or participate in the Service will need to call (800) 678-3786 (NCFFF Memorial Hotline) for Apparatus Staging and Honor Guard Information. All participating Departments/Honor Guards must be in place at Purnell Swett High School no later than 2:30 pm.
