The new NCFFF website looks great! Excellent job by several people I am sure. Thank you for the very important work the NCFFF does on behalf of all of us.
I wanted to see if my grandfather was listrd on this site and I found him.
Raymond D. Core, and he worked for New Hanover, Wilmington, N.C.
My Dad, Raymond D. Core II also worked for the Wilmington Fire Department as well.
I was just wondering if there were any guyus out there that served with my Dad?
On behalf of my department I want to think everyone that helped us with the pasting of Captain G.W. Fisher III. We know that our brother was loved and will miss him dearly. Thank everyone from NCFFF.
As we look back to the past and are ever mindful of the sacrifice we look to today to those who serve and to tomorrow to those who will fill the ranks and step up to the rig…..we salute those who have served those who are serving and those who have paid the price of service the living and the dead….those firefighterveterans and those rubber boot warriors who have made our lives better and our futures safe. God bless and God speed to those family members who are suffering from their loss. We hold you especially in the power of our prayers and the gifting of the remembrance of them.

Still hoping that someone out there that worked in the Wilmington firestations could send me a message if they knew my Dad, Raymond D. Core 2.
Thanks,
