I am a member of the Randolph County Honor Guard. This was my second year coming to the Memorial..This year we had a member of our department (Coleridge-Erect) added to the memorial..I would like to say thank you to the men and women that started this memorial... This just lets people know that these men and women will not be forgotten...They lost their lives to keep others safe from harm...God Bless All Fire Fighters.....

Thanks for the great weekend!! It was so awesome it feels like it gets better every year.
I miss you Daddy so much but it felt cool to be able to see your name on the monument again, I know that if you were here you would not want all this stuff that you have gotten, like your name on the NC and national FF memorials, the service that you had but you're one of the unsung heros who deserves all that you got. I miss your smilig face, your quirky sayings that you had, the advice that you could give, I miss getting to hear you preach on Sunday mornings and most of all I miss those great hugs and the I love you's may you rest in peace Daddy I love you and hope to see you again someday. I hope and pray that as I start my journey in getting my FF certification that you will be beside me each step of the way. I know you didn't want me to do this but it's something I have wanted for a very long time. Love you bunches

I have been in the fire service "business" all my life. My daddy retired from the City of Wilmington Fire Department after 30+ years and then decided to continue on by joining a volunteer department. He was Chief at Winter Park Volunteer FD and is currently Deputy Chief at Wrightsboro Voulnteer FD. I have never been so proud to be associated with a profession like I am with the fire service. The men and women that put their lives on the line to protect our property and lives are ALL heroes in my eyes. I appreciate all that have chosen this path and I applaude those who are considering a futire in this field. Thank you for the memorial. What an expression of love for those who have risked it all doing what they love the most. May God bless the families those active and retired firefighters and the ones who have gone before us.

I miss you so much uncle victor. I can't believe its been a month and 2 days since we've lost you. I want you to know how proud we all are of you. You and Justin made the ultimate sacrifice, and are forever in our hearts. You may be fallen but you are certainly not forgotten, thank you to everyone who wrote on this in memory of my uncle Victor & his firefighter brother Justin. Pray for them, and their families, and DONT EVER FORGET, what they have done.
I miss you,
I love you,
i'll be thinking of you.
God Bless both of you.
